Online Ordering
Notifications are controlled by each individual restaurant. Restaurants may or may not have alerts such as updating you on the order status. When you order through a Toast restaurant’s website, these notices will be sent via text message to let you know when your order is ready. Please note that because each restaurant controls these alerts, you may experience different notifications when ordering at different restaurants.
Local by Toast App
If you have notifications enabled for the Local by Toast app, those notifications will appear on your home screen. The app notifications will vary depending on the settings of the restaurant where the order was placed.
In order to manage notifications on an Apple device:
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Notifications near the top of the list
- Select Local by Toast
- On this screen, you can adjust how you’d like these notifications to appear (or if you would like to disable them)
