A Toast account is used to place online orders directly from your favorite restaurant's Toast-affiliated website (if enabled) or via the Local by Toast app. These orders can be placed for takeout or for delivery, depending on the preferences of the restaurant you order from.
Toast accounts can also be used to accrue loyalty points when they share the same email and/or phone number that is used for a restaurant-sponsored loyalty program for applicable restaurants (please see What is a loyalty account?). Lastly, a Toast account can be used to reorder your favorite meals, or easily access your previous online order history.
Currently, emails and phone numbers cannot be changed on a Toast account and we recommend reaching out to us at support@toasttakeout.zendesk.com for any additional questions you may have.
