A loyalty account is used to accrue rewards points with your favorite and most frequented restaurants! Loyalty programs are designed by the restaurant for everything from rewards points accrual, to how and when those points can be redeemed, to how restaurants celebrate birthdays for their repeat guests. A restaurant has jurisdiction over how their specific program is run, and may or may not allow online reward redemption, accrual, or sign up. For the best insight on these programs, we recommend reaching out to the restaurant directly for their policies and accrual guidelines.
Something important to note is that loyalty accounts are restaurant-specific. This means that each restaurant will fall under another account. These accounts can have different information, or the same information as one another. If your loyalty account email and/or phone number is the same as your Toast account, and the restaurant allows online accrual, they will automatically sync up so you are able to see your loyalty information! The email and phone number on a loyalty account can easily be changed, or merged with another account if you may have created multiple accounts under the same restaurant with differing information. Either the applicable restaurant or Toast can assist you with merging loyalty accounts if you believe you have multiple for the same restaurant.
